Ex-child abuse caseworker admits possessing child pornography

This article is a story of the fox in the hen house. This child sexual predator was a child abuse investigator for Oneida county. Can you imagine this? He was very good placing himself in positions to be around vulnerable children. Thankfully there is no data to support that he harmed any of the children he worked with. He sure knew how to put himself in positions of power and respect. He was a police officer for twenty years.
During his plea, Dorozynski acknowledged that he knowingly possessed a computer, compact disks and zip disks that contained images of child pornography.
His ex-girlfriend is the one that lead authorities to investigate this child sexual predator. She found indecent/inappropriate images on his computer and alerted authorities. She must have felt utter disgust and disbelief at finding what she did. Good for her that she had the courage to come forward. There are those that wouldn't. Especially because the images were of "barely legal" young girls. Meaning they were more then likely over the age of the onset of puberty. There are those that believe children who are over the age of eleven years can make the choice to have a sexual relationship with an adult. They are part of the movement to normalize pedophilia and the movement to abolish the sexual offender registry. I have had people leave comments on this blog that if an eleven year old looks mature that should make a difference in the outcome of the child sexual predators case. These people scare me and I am surprised that there isn't more information about their movement in the press. We have age of consent laws in this country for a reason; to protect children. Now I have discussed previously on this blog that I do believe that there should be consistent age of consent laws in this country. Right now the age of consent ranges from sixteen to eighteen. It does make sense to have a more cohesive system in this country. I in no way support lowering the age of consent to under sixteen. Those in the movement to normalize pedophilia would like the age of consent laws lowered and thankfully their lobbying is on deaf ears.

There is also a number of people who think that those who view child sexual abuse images (aka child porn) are not breaking the law. They claim that they didn't make the images so no one is hurt. They forget that those who look at child sexual abuse images are looking at children being victimized. Anyone who would want to, let alone look at images of children being victimized should be held accountable for their actions.
The images were then sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to be compared with database of known victims. The center identified 664 images from 28 different series of known images of actual children from across the U.S and abroad, prosecutors said.
The above excerpt from the article puts cases like this one in perspective. Some of the children in the child sexual predators disgusting library are known children who's images have showed up in the possession of other child sexual abuse predators. That's the reality these are children; not things. They deserve to grow up free of any type of abuse. Especially abuse that steals their souls and gives them a life sentence to deal with the rest of their lives. Glad this child sexual abuse predator is off the streets. Rosie

Observer-Dispatch Stan Dorozynski

A former Oneida County Child Protective Services caseworker pleaded guilty Wednesday to possessing child pornography at his Frankfort home in 2010.
Stanley Dorozynski, who also was a Utica police officer from 1980 to 2000, could face a maximum of 10 years in prison when he is sentenced in U.S. District Court on Friday, Dec. 7. He was immediately taken into custody following his plea.

Dorozynski will also have to register as a sex offender, pay a fine of up to $250,000 and face a term of supervised release that could potentially last the rest of his life.
During his plea, Dorozynski acknowledged that he knowingly possessed a computer, compact disks and zip disks that contained images of child pornography. And because the images were transported through interstate and foreign commerce using a computer, the allegations rose to the level of a federal crime.
Dorozynski became a county child protective services caseworker in 2008, where he was responsible for investigating child abuse cases.
The allegations first surfaced in October 2010, when Dorozynski’s former girlfriend contacted authorities regarding inappropriate images she had seen on Dorozynski’s computer in June 2010.
The images were titled with names like “Barely Legal, Teens, Russian Teen, and Voyer,” and they appeared to depict girls between 11 and 15 in sexual positions with adults, according to facts in Dorozynski’s federal plea agreement.
Dorozynski’s girlfriend then unlocked a trunk in a jewelry box on Dorozynski’s dresser, where she located more than eight zip disks. She moved out of Dorozynski’s house by July 2010.
More than 2,400 images were found on 18 CDs and several zip disks that could be considered child pornography, prosecutors said.
The images were then sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to be compared with database of known victims. The center identified 664 images from 28 different series of known images of actual children from across the U.S and abroad, prosecutors said.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Lisa Fletcher.
