Report: Feds Investigating Sandusky Pedophile Ring, Possibly Shared Boys With Others

I came across across information on this story the end of July after the Sandusky verdict came in. I found them on twitter.  http://americanfreepress.net/?p=5116, http://www.yardbird.com/tv_town_officials_cant_stop_pedophile_sex_ring.htm. Then last week I found a couple of stories that I have posted below on the fact that Postal Inspectors and the Fed's are both investigating the possibility that this story is true. Mark Madden also spoke of it on The Mully and Hanley Show http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2011/11/10/rumor-sandusky-pimped-out-young-boys-to-rich-donors/

“It’s going to get worse before it gets better,” Mark Madden of 105.9 The X in Pittsburgh said on 670 The Score. “The one thing I hear is being investigated right now, and I hasten to add this as only a rumor, but I know of at least two prominent columnists who are investigating the story, is that The Second Mile, and there’s no nice way to say this, pimped out young boys to wealthy donors.”
If this story is true it is pretty disgusting. There were stories like this back in the late 1980's early 1990's http://educate-yourself.org/tg/franklincoverupexcerptwashtimesphoto.shtml, http://www.voxfux.com/features/bush child_sex_coverup/franklin.htm that I found when I was doing research into the coverup (aka debunking) of ritual abuse and child sexual abuse. I was wanting to know how it was possible to coverup/debunking could have happened. Especially when so many in the late 1980's and early 1990's were telling their stories. Then I came across the Franklin coverup and it helped me to understand how this could happen. Of course the False Memory S(word) Foundation was started in 1992 and they played a major role in the debunking of child sexual abuse and ritual abuse http://www.fmsfonline.org/. The media at the time was more interested in the false memory s(word) foundation then in believing the survivors of child sexual and ritual abuse. This made it extremely hard for survivors and those that worked with survivors to get their stories out. Every time a story was put out the FMS(word)F jumped on the story and not only debunked the survivor but tried and in some cases debunked the therapist/mental health professional who worked with the survivor.

I have found it really interesting in the past nine months with both the Sandusky and Catholic Church scandal in Penn that Pamela Freyd or any of FMS(word)F advisory board members have remained silent. I attribute this to the fact that child sexual abuse is now in the forefront of many people's minds. There has been a national conversation on this topic since November 2011 when the Sandusky scandal broke. I have often thought about during this whole process what would have happened if these stories broke in the late 1980's or early 1990's. The FMS(word)F had a lot of power and were able to use this power to shut survivors up. There are several bloggers who blog on this topic, their are non-main stream media who have covered these stories since day one. And lastly the main stream media jumped on the bandwagon. If this story were to have broke in the late 1980's early 1990's it probably would have been covered up. This may have been one of the reasons in 1998 when one of the mother's of a victim went to police that the story wasn't pursued appropriately. In 1998 do to the hype by FMS(word)F and their advisory board members and supporters. There was the belief that child sexual abuse was not traumatic. The FMS(word)F and their advisory board members had done numerous articles on how children who were sexually abused and the fact that the abuse wasn't traumatic. They have also done articles on how "forgetting" traumatic events was impossible. In my opinion this lead to why the main stream media didn't pick up these stories. Dr. Elizabeth Loftus who has been on FMS(word)F advisory board for many years did the following article where she compares child sexual abuse memories to kidnapping of space aliens and the salem which hunt.
http://www.ipt-forensics.com/journal/volume6/j6_1_4.htm. In this next article Dr. Loftus is quoted as saying that you can't be sexually assaulted and repress the traumatic event (traumatic amnesia). http://www.themediareport.com/hot-topics/repressed-memory-debuned/

I am thankful that at this point FMS(word)F is pretty much debunked. There has been enough long standing empirical evidence that there are long term consequences of child sexual abuse. The Ace Study http://www.acestudy.org/ is one among several that shows the long term effects of trauma as a child, and it's impact when the child becomes an adult.  Judges are allowing "repressed" memories into court cases. Something that was virtually unheard of prior to 2009. While I feel that if the story is true that Sandusky used the Second Mile as a "pimping" ground for young children is horrible and needs to be told. If it is proven true it will give credence to survivors like myself who have survived being ritualistically abused. With sexual abuse being at the heart of the "rituals." I am also grateful that the FMS(word)F has no bearing on the outcome of the investigation into this story. I have said before that, "there are bad people who do terrible things to children" and some of those people have power and privilege behind them. They have had the ability to coverup what they have done. I am thankful there are dogged people that won't let this story go and have worked hard to bring it out. I am also grateful that the main stream media is looking at this story. The more the truth comes out, the more those with power and privilege who wish to do bad  things to children, won't have their safety net to hide behind anymore. The fact that children are being believed when they share that they were sexually abused and aren't being "debunked" is one of the catalysts for stories like this coming to light. In gratitude, Rosie

Feds probe possible Sandusky child porn ring

The Penn State Scandal

Updated 5:21 PM ET
(CBS/AP) U.S. Postal inspectors are leading a federal investigation into whether former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky shared child pornography with other individuals, CBS News has learned.
Analyzing a computer seized from Sandusky, investigators are also looking into whether he sent "seductive letters" across state lines for sexual purposes. Some of these letters were said to be sent to some of his sexual abuse victims.
CBS News has learned that at the end of 2011, allegations were forward by the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. that Sandusky used the mails to seduce individuals to cross state lines for sexual purposes, with trips and gifts offered. Investigators are looking at 6-7 victims who might have gotten letters.

Also in March of this year, U.S. Postal inspectors were tasked to investigate The Second Mile charity, which was founded by Sandusky. That investigation is on hold, awaiting for documents to be released by the State Attorney.
A source has been told that child pornography was found in at least one of Sandusky's computers. According to the source, there is no evidence that the pornography was of his victims. There is also no mention of a ring or sharing of boys with others. CBS News investigative producer Pat Milton reports that a second source said that none of Sandusky's victims have indicated that there was shared sex with them, Sandusky and any other individual.
The investigation is being carried out of the U.S. Postal Inspectors office in Harrisburg, Pa. and the U.S. Attorney Office of the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
"I haven't heard a thing about this latest allegation," Sandusky's attorney Joe Amendola, told CBS News. "Jerry continues to maintain his innocence. We think the allegation is ridiculous."
Sandusky, Penn State's defensive coordinator during the program's best years, was arrested in November on dozens of child sex abuse charges. He was convicted in June of 45 criminal counts.
Meanwhile, Penn State's board of trustees will meet this weekend to consider whether to ratify a consent decree with the NCAA that imposed penalties for how the university handled the Sandusky child molestation scandal.
Board chairwoman Karen Peetz told fellow trustees Thursday in an email, which was obtained by The Associated Press, that said there was confusion about how Penn State accepted the sanctions and whether it was the "best course" for the university.
"We have heard from President (Rodney) Erickson and from our legal team," Peetz wrote. "We have had an opportunity to speak our minds. I appreciate everyone's candor and your sincere and heartfelt comments. However, it is now time to put this matter to rest and to move on."
The resolution before the board would say that it "wishes to and hereby does ratify" the consent decree.
"We are leaders of this university," Peetz told the trustees. "We need to lead."
A notice posted on Penn State's website said the 5 p.m. Sunday telephone conference would be broadcast live online.
The NCAA on July 23 barred the school from postseason play for four years, fined it $60 million and invalidated 112 of the football team's wins for the way school officials handled abuse complaints against Sandusky.
Penn State also was stripped of future scholarships, and several high-profile players have decided to transfer to other schools since the penalties were announced. The team opens play at home Sept. 1 against Ohio University.
The NCAA concluded Penn State suffered "an unprecedented failure of institutional integrity leading to a culture in which a football program was held in higher esteem" than its own values, those of the NCAA and higher education, "and most disturbingly the values of human decency."
Penn State acquiesced to the penalties, with Erickson signing the agreement. Two days later, the trustees met in secret before issuing a statement that called the sanctions difficult but the alternatives worse.
Some trustees, alumni and others have reacted angrily. The family of former football coach Joe Paterno, who died in January, and a trustee who said others supported him have sought to appeal the NCAA's decision, but the organization has said the decision is not subject to appeals.

(WSCR) According to a report from RadarOnline.com, the FBI and a criminal investigative division of the United States Postal Service are looking into the possibility that former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky created a pedophile ring in which he shared boys with other men connected to Penn State.
Sandusky was convicted on 45 counts of child sexual abuse in June.

“The new investigation is also looking at if boys from the Second Mile charity were shared by Sandusky with other men. The name of at least one very rich and powerful man connected to the university has come up in this new investigation.”
Additionally, CBS News reported U.S. Postal inspectors are leading a federal investigation into whether Sandusky shared child pornography with other individuals.
These new reports coincide with a report from The Mully and Hanley Show in November, which alleged Sandusky would “pimp” out young boys to wealthy donors.
