This pedophiles sentence got lessened by 10 years. The argument for that is that he is "childlike." I have read several stories since I have had this blog on predators who were intellectually disabled. This doesn't negate that these predators hurt children. I am also aware professionally that the rates for abuse to people with disabilities is high like 90% of people with disabilities experience abuse in their lifetime. It is very possible that this predator was preyed upon as well. I wish their was a way to get more data on this topic. I have noticed that female molesters talk more openly about their child sexual abuse experience. I believe the rate of sexual abuse to female molesters is over 90% http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/05/080513101605.htm this is evidence to me that pedophiles are made not born. That is why we need to continue our fight against childhood sexual abuse. This may be the single most destructive social problem our society faces. I'm thankful that stories are being told and survivors are being listened to and believed. So glad we're not in the 90's anymore. FMSwordF should be sued due to their actions playing a role in the continuation of keeping child sexual abuse survivors from being believed. Their implications that CSA doesn't have long lasting effects on survivors. How the media allowed themselves to be duped by this organization is beyond me. The truth generally comes out and even though it took 20 years FMSwordF is finally becoming silenced. I for one am happy about that. Rosie

Sick: Jake Ormerod has had his prison sentence reduced from 10 years to three
A teenage paedophile whose gang may have sexually abused more than 139 under-age girls has had his sentence reduced by three years.
Jake Ormerod used social networking websites including Facebook to groom his victims before luring them back to his squalid home in Torquay, Devon.
He has now had his jail term cut from 10 years to seven by judges at London’s Criminal Appeal Court.
